  • Alert you of any safety concerns including faulty wiring, poorly attached ladders, failing steps, loose railings, dangerous diving boards and unsafe deck surfaces

Sand Changes

Pool Scouts technicians performing a sand changing service Did you know that your old reliable sand filter will need servicing every 4 to 5 years? The most obvious sign of needing service is a cloudy pool, but don’t wait until it gets to that point. Over time, the sand in your sand filter wears out, and slowly the water is not as clear as it once was. If you wait until the water is cloudy, then you risk a green pool and a mess on your hands. Replace the sand every 4 to 5 years and preemptively prevent any filtering problems. Our service includes:

  • Remove old sand from filter
  • Replace the lateral assembly
  • Install the correct sand as specified by the manufacturer of the filter

Automatic Chlorinator Installation

Two Pool Scouts techs performing an automatic chlorinator installationHow do you add chlorine to your pool? If you’re putting chlorine tabs in your skimmer then consider the consequences and the alternative. There is no way to regulate how much chlorine goes into the pool when you put chlorine tabs in the skimmer, and it causes more wear and tear on your equipment. That method also requires you to add tabs once or even twice per week, and when you forget to add one, you’re going to have a green pool on your hands.

The alternative is an automatic chlorinator. It feeds chlorine to your pool through the return lines, and reduces wear and tear on your equipment. It is a self-contained canister that you can load with tabs that last up to 3 weeks. Set the dial and load with tabs. Now you will have 2 to 3 weeks of chlorine being fed into your pool, and a more controlled chlorine level, never too high or too low. This chlorinator can be installed into any inground pool and will produce immediate results.
